i had a look, the map has a good potential.

I have to say that i don't know the original one so i don't know what you modified.

There is some bugs we can correct.

There are other things which should be modified/enhanced.

For exemple the tod, i found it too bright and the moving shadow is not really nice, maybe we should use a fixed time.

The streets are too empty to my opinion. We should have more vehicles (casus vehicles for exemple), some barriers, checkpoints, road blocks, accidents, some decals and little objects on the ground.

The mountain around the map should be a little reworked to be more realistic.

About the gameplay, i think we should not have the "doors" inside the buildings because these buildings have only one access and it will be too easy for defenders to camp and block the way.


I don't know if you want to rework these points or if you want to just adapt the gameplay of the original map. But if you want, i can go on a server with you to check all these points and i could help you on some things.

Do you launch the game with the launcher?

The only two ways to have grey servers are:

_ Not the same version of the server.

_ You run the game in dx10 and the server is in dx9.

The official servers are  dx9.

Hello

For the time of day, there is 2 times.

The current time you have in sandbox and the "start" time for ingame.

You have these times on left in the window of tod.

For a static time, just set the start time and a speed of 0.

For the vegetation, i guess the grass is associated to the layer texture maybe. So you may have to change the ground texture at this place.

This map is a remake of "Firestorm" from Battlefield 3







This is still wip and still has some problems for the moment:

1. lack of destruction .

2. The new technology is not such as Mi-24 helicopter gunships and tanks Abrams and T90, armored personnel carriers and other.

3. The map would need planes!!!

4. Change Hood tanks and helicopters, possibly make homing missiles and infrared imager.

Anyone who wants to help me on these points is welcome.
