Olicarnage, a clan's mate, just installed the Trial, installed Casus Belli, patched to 1.5, launched CB to update it to v23, restarted the game. But then when he goes to multiplayer > Internet game: a CD Key is asked before he can see the servers list.
Who tried to install CB through Wars Trial?
Did he already had regular Wars installed before (I mean even if it was uninstalled before)?

Tell him to type anything, like "1111-1111-1111-1111-111".
Then when he'll connect on the official server, he shouldn't be bothered with the CD-key as our server won't check cd-keys.
Note: I'm going to pin-up this topic, it may be useful to other people on the forum.

He tried with 000... then he was asked to login with EA account, after that he was able to see the server but when he tried to connect a CD Key was asked again. But I just didn't asked him if he tryed the all 0 method...

Hi, I tried with 1111... like you said. But it isn't working, i've got this message error when i try to connect on the server: "CD key check failed. Do you want to edit it ?"  |

Ok, i resolved this problem:
Enter the following CD Key:
edit Fabiolo: removed for the moment
It works now.

Hi all  No chance (luck) for me. Because at this time I got many problems because (fatal error from me) I wrote a legal CD Key (I got this key when I bought on "ORIGIN" the full warehead+crysis wars. According to your post on Somua, your original key doesn't allow you to play multiplayer. You're not the first, you simply have to aks for a new key and they will provide you a working one. You're not the first, looks like the support is used to it!

I played the mod fine for the first two days. Now every time I try to join a game I get the message CD key check failed, do you want to edit? I click yes, and enter 20 digits as instructed here, but then i get message that it is 20 alpha numeric digits. No combination I have tried has worked. Can no longer get in any matches.
