One thing that can make combat in CB feel slightly awkward, for me anyway, is that it would seem any keystroke which cannot be processed immediately, say because a weapon switch animation hasn't completed, is ignored. In most engines if I switch weapon I can immediately hold down the ironsights key and it will switch to ironsights as soon as the animation has played out, in CB I have to delay the key press myself or press it again. Similarly, if I'm sprinting and press ironsights slightly before releasing the sprint key they don't come up when I do stop sprinting unless I press again and it's the same in reverse, the animation out of ironsights needs to complete before you can press the sprint key or you'll need to press it again.
I guess I'll get used to it and it's probably a Crysis quirk which would be difficult or impossible to change with a mod but I thought I'd just raise it as something that might perhaps be improved upon.
