Stealth Game Mode
Lately Dolphineye and I have been discussing the possibility of a new "Stealth" gamemode
After discussing it, we think we could get great input from the rest of the community!!

     Possible Features
1. 2 sides, one with standard weapons, and the other with only specialized equipment (knife, flashbangs, c4, etc.)
2. An objective (maybe c4ing a radio tower, or something similar) for the infiltrating team to complete
3. Extra specialized equipment for the infiltrating team to purchase (thermal goggles? tranquilizer rifles?)
4. What else do you think should be considered? Please tell us your suggestions!!

     Examples
Cryengine's incredibly realistic visuals offer some superb opportunities for stealth gameplay
Watch these videos to get an idea of how effective stalking your opponent can be in Casus Belli

Please tell us your ideas and suggestions!!

Yeah, I think some people might be interested into this stealth gameplay, but i think it shouldn't be a priority. Its still a gameplay style for low amount of player though.

I think the team with full auto rate fire weapon will always win. And ninja team will always be defeated. The only chance is in invisiability

Not if you can use handguns properly... If I use em' in BF3 or BC2, I most of the time, totally annihilate with them... It's a different thing in CB though, because in CB the player movement is not as fluid (But is more realistic considering you are carrying loads of equipment and weapons with you.).

I think the idea about such a gamemode is not bad, but with the current state of the mod the focus should be indeed on other gamemodes, especialy the hard core and the standard game mode. And as you can see the mod offers the possibility to play with this style already  Grin. There are a lot of interesting tools in this mod. The idea with the thermal view is very interesting. Reminds me of Rainbow Six. Could me nice to add such a thing to the mod. I also would like to see the use of grappling hooks as you could use them in BF2SF. This would offer alot more diversity in gameplay and make you able to find the rigth assets for your style of gameplay.

Other than that we should keep the idea in mind for the future.  Wink
