New server and FTP

Hello everyone,

Casus Belli now has a new official server called [No-CD] Official Casus Belli Server

We are praying god hope that the official server will not crash anymore.

Eventually, keep in mind that now the "Servak" is no longer official.

To conclude, we are also going to migrate all the downloads to this new server.

Glad to hear that a more stable server will be provided in the future to make the game sessions more enjoyable. The disconnects in the past lead to fastly decreasing playercounts on Beta sessions.
So thank you for this. You guys know how solve problems. Please keep up the good work

I'd be glad if anyone could provide me feedback about:

a) the download speed on the new official download links provided on the You are not allowed to view links. Register or Loginpage.

b) if the server is faster to connect to and/or if it seems more stable to you

a) For me the download speed fluctuates quite heavily between 1.1-2.9MB/s (my bandwidth's max download speed is 5.4MB/s)

b) I think the server is a bit faster, though I don't see a real noticable difference. But I'm quite new here, so it's a bit hard for me to compare this

a) You're a special case Orpheus Most of the people don't have more than 8mbps (1 mb/s). On the former server, people were usually downloading at 2mbps (250 kb/s)

b) The most important point for me is the server crashes. I pray god hope that it will be way more stable now.

a) downloading at 1,8 mo/s
b) my ping fluctuates between 25 and 60

We played something like 1 or 2 hours without any crash
