Install Note:

> DON'T extract the files
> Clic only on casusbelli-setup.exe
> Specify the correct installation directory
> Clic on shortcut to launch Casus Belli Mod

That's it

Casus Belli will update to version 24 and 25 and 26 and 27 ... Be patient, it's very long!

Is there any way to retrieve the updates otherwise?

Hi,
try this link You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and download all the missing patchxx.pak that you need. Go into your casus belli folder and download the .pak that you need. To install them: unzip the files (with 7zip, winrar,...) and put all the files into your casus belli folder.
After downloading and installing all the files, your casus belli folder should look at this:

We usually update the setup files every 5 major updates.

A few patches are actually hotfixes and hence have a weight of couple of megabytes. So, it does not take long to download them.

Hello, very much looking forward to trying the mod after following your progress for more than a year.

Could I suggest that you post MD5 checksums for the downloads, particularly the RARs so if we end up with a dud one we can find out which without re-downloading them all. There's a Microsoft command line tool for generating MD5 sums available via ...

Hi all Comrades and you "Nikoagonistes" Smiley

Did you try this procedure:

After installing Crysis Wars + Crysyswars_Patch5 + Casus Belli Mod :

1. Restart (reboot) your PC.

2. After click with mouse's right button on "Crysis Wars" shortcut which is on your desktop (the red icone)

3. Select "Properties".

4. In "compatibility" select "Execute like an administrator" (if your OS is Vista or Windows7 all versions 32 bits or 64 bits).

5. Now click with mouse's left button on "Crysis Wars" shortcut icone (the red one).

6. When you are in "Crysis Wars" menu select "MOD" then select "CASUS BELLI".

7. After that the game "Crysis Wars" closes and the "Casus Belli" Mod is launched automatically.

8. After that you could see new updates are downloaded automatically.

9. After the updates "Casus Belli" the game restarts.

10. After click on "Multiplayer"->Internet games->write a key ,for example :
 "2513 7512 6315 8172 1537"

11. Then click on "SUBMIT".

12. After you DO see the servers list, update the list.

13. Select a server. Now can you play "Casus Belli"?

14. When you stop playing you will do that:

15. Click with mouse's right button  on "Casus Belli" icone. In "compatibility" select "Execute like an administrator" (if your OS is Vista or Windows7 all versions 32 bits or 64 bits).

16. In this condition (eventuality) when you would want playing again "Casus Belli" clicking on "casus Belli" icone will be enough.

Best regard and courage!

Right click on the "Casus Belli Open Beta" shortcut, then click "Run as administrator". It should fix your problem.

Um... I'm using Windows XP, and my current account is the administrator (and yet it still won't run.)  Would that be a problem?

Did you make sure - just in case - that you installed Casus Belli in the right directory?
The setup will NOT autodetect the Crysis Wars installation directory.

You should have the following folder trees:

<Crysis Wars Installation Directory>\Bin32\Crysis.exe
<Crysis Wars Installation Directory>\Mods\casusbelli\Launcher.exe

Tell me if it's what you got.

Hi guys and happy new year to all   Smiley

Having exactly the same pb on Win7 as Nikoagonistes when launching Casusbelli I solved it after realizing I had to create the missing "Mods" directory myself in the Electronic Arts/Crytek/Crysis Wars tree and place the "casusbelli" directory into it.

Then the system did the rest as joeldecaroual mentionned it.

Hope this can help Cool

thanks again for the job I'm looking forward to try the game !

Seriously, where the F*** is the setup file? There's no .exe, and you guys tell me to not extract, just click on the .exe that doesn't seem to exist.

If this mod is going to get some attentions and a decent fanbase, you guys need to get this **** together.  I've never had problems with installing games or mods before, but this install is just confusing.

A tip is to make a step by step tutorial (Download Crysis Wars Trial first, then the patch blabla...), and then, have ONE single download with an .exe file this time, so people doesn't get confused.

Sorry for raging, but i just really wanna test this mod right now.
