Not really a bug, more of a troubleshooting issue.
Basically, I installed the mod to the letter. I've tried all the fixes described in the FAQ, but whenever I start the mod normally, it simply crashes to the desktop and gives me the "Stopped Working" prompt.
I have Crysis Wars on Steam, so it's fully updated. The only way I could get the game to start to load up normally was by creating a shortcut to the 64-bit Crysis Wars .exe and running the mod from there. But then I get something along the lines of "The Casus Belli DLL could not be loaded. Be sure you've installed the Visual Studio 2010 redistributable. The game will close automatically in 15 seconds."
I know I have Visual Studio, .NET Framework, and all of those things installed and up to date. (The installers just prompt either repair or remove, so I know I have them.) But I can't get the mod to start. With the normal 32-bit launcher, it crashes, and with the 64-bit, it'll start but won't load the DLL. And yes, I'm running as administrator.
Any ideas, guys?

The Casus Belli x64 DLL does not exist, it's why you culd run the game. That means that the game crashes because of the asus Belli x32 DLL. You're not the first one to report this problem.
Maybe I wil have to compile a DLL in debug mode for you. Then you would have put it in the casusbelli/Bin32/ folder, and run the game. Eventually, you'd send me back the crash report.
Would it be OK?
EDIT: what are your system specs (hardware? + OS? + 32/64 OS?)

If it gets the issue fixed, or at least helps, that'd be perfectly fine. Thanks for the quick response. :3
My specs that I can think of are:
ATI Radeon 6970 2GB AMD FX4100 Quad-Core @ 3.6 GHz (Think it runs the new Bulldozer chipset or such, I know that on Mass Effect 1 it's been the cause of some screwy glitches. D:) 8 Gigs of 1333 RAM
Running on Windows 7 x64.

This is nearly the exact same problem I am having. I even almost have the same computer as you. If you can come up with a fix for this it would be greatly appreciated. I have been trying to get this mod working for the past two hours, I really had no idea this was going to be such a big ordeal. It won't allow me to play it in 64 bit mode, and I can't get it to run in 32 bit mode. I can't even get normal Crysis Wars to run using the .exe in the Crysis Wars Bin32 folder. I get the exact same error messages as Cloud Flash. I hope a solution is found!
Only difference in computer setup is I have 16 GB Ram, and the 6950 instead of 6970.

Hello.
Is anyone of you available this week end for a debug session?
I guess your AMD graphic cards might have something to do with these crashes.
Meanwhile, may you try to change / update your AMD gpu drivers to see if it helps?
Cheers

I have the most up-to-date drivers at the moment. I also, cannot play normal Crysis Wars using the Bin32 .exe. Both Casus Belli, and Crysis Wars 32bit crash at a black screen at startup, saying "Crysis Wars Encountered a problem and needs to close." I can only play using the Bin64 exe. I followed the instructions perfectly, at least I think so.
1. I downloaded and installed the trial version of Crysis Wars.
2. I downloaded and installed the 1.5 patch for Crysis Wars.
3. I then installed Casus Belli, followed by insalling the 1.1 patch.
I have also tried to run the Casus Belli .exe by adding the -x64 at the end of it, but it didn't change a thing in regards to the crash. I've tried running it in both DX9 and DX10, neither changed the outcome. This is the first game I've had any trouble with, and I've played a ton of mods and games on my new computer. I also tried running it through the 'manual shortcut' and it started, but then I receive this issue in red: "The Casus Belli DLL could not be loaded. Be sure you've installed the Visual Studio 2010 redistributable. The game will close automatically in 15 seconds."
I do already have the Visual Studio, because when I attempted to install it, it only repaired what I already had, which I don't believe needed to be repaired in the first place. I hope by reporting this issue you guys can help me fix it, not only for me, but so I can get all of my friends to download and start playing as well!
Here are my specs:
MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 AMD FX-4100 Quad Core Processor 16.0 GB Ram AMD HD Radeon 6950 Series 500 GB Hard Drive Space
I have the normal Crysis installed on my computer, and that one works just fine.
And to answer your question about the debug session, I'm not sure. I'm normally not available to much on weekends, only really late at night. If you PM me the .dll file to test though, I could test it at some point over the weekend.

Longshot:
(I´m not a pro, but this won´t harm your game/system, I´m sure).
Delete all shaders in your directory (see below) and do NOT start up the game in some 64 & DX10 mode afterwards. Just in 32bit mode & DX9
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Crysis Wars\Shaders\Cache
Just delete all files in there, they will become regeneratet at game startup, for a try.
I don´t have any problems with the game/mod with a AMD Radeon 6950@6970 btw..

Alright I tried what you recommended, and unfortunately it didn't work. I got the same crash error. Thanks for your suggestion though, man this ticks me off... this game looks so cool, I really want to play it lol. I deleted all the files in the cache folder, and the same error message appeared. I don't know why its bugging out like this... this is the first time I've had an error like this with my new computer. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated though!

Man your problem is really weird. Have you tried.to.reinstall everything?
If.it.does not help, would you agree that I take control of your PC with team viewer this week end?

I'm pretty much available at any time to do what you've suggested, as long as it gets the mod working and can help fix the issue for others like Ghost, I have no gripes.
I have an MSN, Steam and Skype if you need to contact me, feel free to PM me for details.
I hope I can start playing the real Battlefield 3 soon. ;P

I'm going to be checking this forum periodically throughout the coming days/weeks. Please let me know on this thread if you guys come up with a fix! I really, really want to try out this mod as it looks awesome. I think if you can find a way to make a 64bit DLL or patch it or something, it would probably work, but then again I have no idea what I'm taking about.. lol. Until then, I suppose I will continue playing Battlefield 3.. *sigh* First world problems... lol

Another longshot: Read this please: You are not allowed to view links.
Register or LoginTo me it looks more and more like both of your problems is situated in the AMD FX-4100 CPU and not being able to run Crysis in 32 mode, but 64 bit mode. Still: Ghost_Kage, you write: "I have the normal Crysis installed on my computer, and that one works just fine." In 32 bit mode as well?

I will try to build a x64 DLL for those crashing in x32. However, this DLL won't be official, and I need at most 5 people having the same problem to send me a MP so that I can send them a x64 DLL this week end.
Regards

Thanks for the suggestion TDRTKolz, I tried it and it worked in a sense. I actually tried this previously, and basicly its the same thing as forcing the game to start in 64 bit mode, it started up, but I got the red message stating the "Be sure you've installed the Visual Studio 2010 redistributable. The game will close automatically in 15 seconds". I think the problem lies in the Casus Belli DLL file not being 64 bit. After reading the post you linked, I am confident now it is a problem with my "Bulldozer" processor. lol Also, dolphineye, I am sending you a PM now. I would be more than happy to test out a new DLL file. I'm excited now! I hope this works, and thankyou so much for the assistance dolphineye, if this fixes it you guys should put the file on your downloads page and explain that its for people with FX-4100 Processors!
