Hi I'm quite new to the game, so I'm sorry I could not provide feedback when it would have been more valuable still in Beta. I just waited for the 1.0 to come out after i discovered the mod 1 month ago.
First of all, I really like the mod. Advance and Secure and Capture the Intelligence are my favorites, the latter one is really unique and intense and allows for a lot of tactics. Maps are mostly beautiful, and i like the details and vegetation and buildings (like on Bravery) very much. That's infact what i miss in BF3: Good detailed map design. Island is an exception, for some reason it looks meager with very little vegetation and or details. Maybe it's because of my seetings being "good performance"?
Now to some feedback/suggestions:
Forum: Links should be readable without registration. I found it frustrating to browse through the forum for some help and not being able to see links. Most of all new people will likely be annoyed if they have to register, even if they just want to install for the first time and are looking for the installation guide.
(Mini)Map: - I'd really like to have a more visible icon for the player itself on the minimap. The white arrow is sometimes hard to determine. It also gets occluded by flag symbols. It would be nice to have it as a sharply shaped arrow in yellow or orange or some well visible color that is always visible, even in buildings or near flags. -Same for the player icon on full map ("n" key) - Please enable the full map to be opened AND closed by the "n" key. It's kind of annoying to having to navigate with the mouse to close it. - It would be even nicer to disable the mouse in full map view completely and being able to move around just like normal, that means being able to turn and aim with the mouse even while the map is open. That would also make it easier to navigate, as it is sometimes hard to determine in which direction one is looking/moving. (see palyer icon)
Vehicles - Vehicles often get stuck on tiny objects. Strange to get stuck with a tank on a crash barrier. I guess it's Crysis physics and you can't do much about it? - Tank: Muzzle gets stuck on objects like traffic signs etc. Maybe it should have no collision at all!? - You get poisoned by gas grenades even in a tank. I think you should be immune to this while being in a vehicle. - When you get killed in a Jeep/tank you get thown out of it (to play the death animation?). It would be nice if you stay dead in the vehicle or just vanish. This is a very minor issue but I included it for completeness.
Flags - flag indicator (minimap) while capturing a point is sometimes not displayed - would be nice to see the team color on the flag indicator (i.e. minimap showing full circle) even if the point is already yours. that is because I'd like to see where the capture zone starts just to be prepared while waiting for enemies etc.
Ingame voice messages - Would be nice to see who is yelling for meds/ammo. Maybe the symbol over a player's head could blink with a fitting symbol.
Mapvotes - Would be useful to have a countdown to next round, so you know how long you can vote
Spawn System - please remove autospawning. I think you always autospawn on the second wave after your death(?), regardless if you clicked the spawn button or not. Sometimes there is a reason to NOT spawn, e.g. squad leader has a bad position or you just need a short break from the game for some reason. - if i click left mouse button after i died (in an despaired attempt to shoot) I often instantly respawn. I guess the last mouseclick wrongly counts for a click on the respawn button(?). Hope you can fix it, so that you have to explicitly click on spawn button. Usually I'd like to select my spawn position and buy some stuff before respawning, so insta-spawn can be annyoing
Intelligence - Maybe you could introduce a limiter for the amount of tickets to be drawn while a team holds the flag. Like 100 while holding it but no more until posession of the intel has changed. Sometimes the "camping" with the flag really gets too much for my taste. Also there is no motivation to carry the intel to the destination just to draw 50 tickets from the enemy if you can just camp and watch the countdown.

Hello dude, Forum:- I've already search in the guest permissions, but I did not see any sort of "Allow to view links".
*Help* Minimap:- For the self icon, that's weird because all of the players icons are shown above everything (i.e. above flags, vehicles etc.). Yet, I can probably make the self icon a bit bigger.
- I can do that holding N also closes the fullscreen map if it's open.
- However, I won't be able to make the mouse disabled for the fullscreen map as a squad leader needs it for launching mortars and/or giving orders.
Vehicles:- We don't have much control over the vehicles' code in the SDK.
Espeially, having a tank turning over because of a small rock is a known bug for more than a year. We don't known how to fix it. All we managed to do is making it happen a bit less than before.
- For the gas killing in a vehicle, it's false. Maybe you'll caugh, but you won't take damage (I'll have to make sure of that though).
- Eventually, we cannot fix the players leaving vehicles when they are destroyed.
I'm sorry.
Flags:- The flags capture are a bit buggous. The indicator not working is one of these bugs.
We'll have it fixed for v1.2.
- For the capture area, I cannot tell you yet if we'll do that. If we do that, it might come within the v1.3.
Ingame voice messages + map votes:- This should be planned for v1.2.

Hi. Thx for the reply. maybe you could even change the color of the self icon to s.th non-white (I'd like yellow/orange). The size is ok. About the occlusion, I'M pretty sure it got covered by a flag symbol, I'll check that when I play later.
Nice how you stole away from answering my suggestions in Spawn/Intel section ;-)

No I just forgot to answer these questions ahah. So:
Spawn System: - For autospawning it's a server-side CVar so it can be disabled - Yes, we should try to fix it I guess. The classes menu will show as soon as you die. I guess that delaying the show should fix it
Intelligence: Or we could make that when you score a goal, you score 100 (or 150 idk) rather than 50. That would encourage people to attempt to score rather than camping only.

All in all the suggestions are good. So could you please remove the autospawn option from the official server? I find it kind of annoying, that I have too few time to choose my weapons and loadout in some situations. That would help alot to make the game more accesible. A key to open and close the map would indeed be nice. But the mouse could still be useble. The problem with the colission of the mainguns of the tanks is indeed one of the biggest problems of the vehicle warfare in CB rigth now. I explained this some weeks ago, but I think that it will need some time to fix this, since the colission mesh woud have to be reworked for the M1, T90 and both APC's. But I think that we are just at the beginning of the life time circle of this great game so I am very optimistic. Atleast the tanks aren't sliding and bouncing like in FH2 and I am used be a tanker there  Atm it just requires some patience and skill to drive those beasts.

For the vehicles, it the crysis engine, i don't think we can do many things against that at this stage.

I'm sorry to bump this, but I'm curious if some of these suggestion will still find their way into 1.2: - better visible self icon on map (maybe blinking, maybe different colour than white) - open and close map with "N" (was not in last time I checked) - Icons over peoples heads to see who is screaming for meds/ammo (maybe 1.3.?) - disable autospawn (I'm embarrased but I'm not sure if this is still in or already removed) - rework ticket system in intelligence so it doesn't always end in a campfest (maybe we could do a suggestions thread about this. my suggestion was to limit the amount of tickets drawn while camping and reward capturing significantly)

Hello Evil, 1. For the self icon on the map, I've never noticed anyone complaining about this. Anyone agrees with Evil? 2. What do you mean? You can open/close map by long pressing "N". 3. Yes, I forgot about this  4. Mhhh, it's a server-side cvar  5. Yes, a suggestion thread would work better  Cheers

Hello, 1 - Im not complaining but i think it can be improved maybe by a little shadow outline... 2 - Map need to be a little zoomed in or bigger size... 3 - Don't forget about this it's very important!  4 - Agree for auto-respawn i don't like it too.... 5 - maybe it should be blocked at 50 points... if you want more go to ennemy camp!

Additional suggestions:
6 - Minimap size and fullscreen map a bit largest 7 - Larger view of map for the lower level of minimap's zoom 8 - order's wheel can be improve by a différent color or effect for selected order, and orders further apart
