hey there you may have seen these two vids that "blueyes77" posted these days... would be nice to see some "tc:e / cqb" features in casus belli. what du you think about it? please comment! 1. Counting Bullets-Magazines instead of counting Bulletsexample: you got 3 bullets-magazines each has 20 bullets. if you fire 5 shots and reload after it, the remaining 15 bullets in magazin 1 are lost. you now have two 20-bullets-magazines leftover. could come with hardcore-mode  watch second video. 2. scopes, zoomas you can see in the second video... if you're using scope, not the whole screen is zooming, just the scope itself. 3. i would like to see a mode like bc2 / bf3 "Squad-Rush-Mode" It is a squad-based version of Rush with one squad per team. Instead of two M-Coms at a base, there is only one. There are also only two bases for the Defenders. The Attackers only receive 20 reinforcement tickets and the Defenders have an unlimited amount. When an M-Com is destroyed and the base taken, the attackers' ticket count resets to 20. Unused tickets do not carry over.

I already suggested 3D scopes in another suggestions thread. Also for sniper rifles as it is designed for the sniper rifles and the other scopes in Project Reality. But I think it will be alot of work to achieve these effects. Best scope system so far can be found in Red Orchestra - Heroes Of Stalingrad. It would be awesome to have something similar in CB. I am also struggeling a littlebit with the zooming when you steady your aim in CB. I would remove it to make firefigths more interesting. This means that you can hold your breath for a view seconds, but this artificial zooming would not be there. About the suggestion with the magazine: I don't really get the point about it. Why would you loose a mag, when it is not empty? Good example for the best solution is also RO: HoS. You don't have an ammo count, but you can check the weight of your mags. This means a heavy mag is full and vise versa. Some people call it hardcore, but I think it is 1.) the most real solution and 2.) it makes firefights much more interesting and intense. When you start to ask yourself whether you should reload or not before engaging the situations get much more thrill. Please correct me if I missunderstood you but this are my two cents.

I think the 3D scopes ala RO2 would be nice, but over there they literally eat a giant chunk of framerate as soon as you scope in. While RO2 is terrible on the framerates anyways (for an Unreal engine'd game that is), I'd imagine something like that to be just as bad in that regard here.
I also agree with 5hitm4k3r regarding the mag count. That "feature" was just annoying in BF2 in many ways. If I'm going into a situation expecting multiple targets and I'm using a weapon like the G3 for example, I either lose my ammo forever or die due to lack of ammo loaded. Not to mention as it is right now where there are not enough players to make the system work entirely as well as it will; and by that I mean a lack of different classes in gameplay.
Until there are more people dropping ammo, I don't think it'd work well. Unless they were to add fixed ammo positions spread throughout the map.
Regarding the hold breath, I think it works well enough. I really think the extra zoom is there to easily let you know you are in a good firing stance more than anything, much better than a DoF effect you see often to accomplish the same IMHO.
I would like to see a smaller set of game modes though for sure. But a lot of that comes down to the current player count. Fortunately some of the smaller Intelligence maps work well on smaller counts. A rush type mode would be nice though, but I think a better option would be bots in terms of getting a game working well with larger player counts on 'off' days.

i'll try to explain... if you shoot and reload a gun like ak47 in reallife, you are not reloading bullets, you are reloading a mag. if you got some bullets left, what are you doing with it while you in combat? reloading the mag? sure not... you have to pick up other weapons from dead players. no fixed ammo-boxes on map needed... play tc:e for a few rounds and you will know what i'm talking about.  i still think it would be a good thing for hardcore-mode.

We understand what you are saying. But you aren't losing that mag. Just because you empty half of a mag, then reload doesn't mean that half full mag is suddenly vaporized. Say you start with 6 mags - 1 loaded, 5 spares. You fire a couple rounds off, reload. You would then actually have 1 full loaded, 4 full and one half full.
This is different than what is present in BF2, where when you reload, a half empty mag simply disappears, never to be used again even if it has rounds remaining in it.

Normally in the Ghost Recon / Rainbox Six series, when you reload a mag, it won't throw it away. But when you have no full mags left, you will reuse all the other mags that may contain from 1 to N bullets.
A poll would sort the things out to know what the people would prefer, I don't know.

Im new? I am 40 been a hardcore gamer since the the spectrum zx81. I know a lame gamer when i see one, you kept killing our team last night 1 second after spawn, we didn't even get chance to draw our weapons. Lame.

New at this game indeed, and obviously a ranter and whiner as well. What was is yesterday? like 15-20 times you continuously chat spammed about me spawn camping? DUDE, LEARN THE GAME! otherwise cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.

Were a big spawn camp yesterday, would have been more fun if they would have gotten out of their base and taken some of the control points. Since we had 2 or more tanks waiting for them there it was really a hard time for them to capture that flag point. I got a good joy ride with the hover atleast  On topic, I think the scope zoom is good as it is,the screen get a little blurry and gives you a tunnel vision. Magazines rather then a pool of rounds I think is more fun in a game and also a more realistic touch. Games who have ammo pools are more likely to get a big dump of bullets against the enemies and not really think about how much u have left.
