Hey guys, nobody to place this game with in Australia. There is a good server up also for Aussies, ( You are not allowed to view links.
I really want some more Aussies to play with, we try and do Saturdays but everyone is so focused on Battle Fart 3 that its hard to get people interested.
Also for the DEVS. This is the best game for my eyes, none of that harsh blue light and giant tac light in the sky, its all soft and wonderfull. Thank you.
The maps are great, but there isn't much of a reason to go through alot of it, Can I suggest a game to utilise the maps!!!
Perhaps this could be used on insurgency, but I would rather have it for an escort game.
So here is how it goes.
GAME MODE: ESCORT
Upon starting the game mode Escort, The player gets to choose freedom as the escort service. 1 player will only have a pistol to start, all other weapons will need to be picked off the ground. The rest of the team will consist of normal units (Ok this sounds like the old Counter strike game but bear with me for the interesting part)
PRIMARY GAME MECHANIC: RANDOM SET ROUTE THROUGH MAP
Each time this game starts there is a boundary zone created from East/West - North/South in a narrow and curving pattern. The Escort team must follow that route or they will die by going out of the boundary zone (10 sec warning). The idea is to make players follow a specified path and be challenged by the obstacles presented in that section of the map.
The team that has the objective to eliminate the Escort does not have to follow this path and may use the map how they like but cannot see the route that the escort players are forced to use. Choke points shouldn't occur if the pathways are randomised out of perhaps some pre-determined paths that the devs find interesting so that the Elimination team can't take advantage.
To add to it, there is a timer for elimination, forcing the team that must eliminate the escort to move out from base. If the timer is finished they fail. No re spawns in this game unless a member on the opposite team that is not the escort is shot down. For the Escort Team, if your down your down, hope your Escort is a good shot!
Once the escort gets to the other side and Perhaps jumps into a Helicopter or an APC the Escort team wins.
If you guys have a better suggestion or game mode, or can think of some constructive ways to improve my game mode, then please suggest to the DEVS.
Also is it possible to introduce some sort of Team balancing into the game so that we don't have to politely ask players to switch teams each time the teams get stacked and unbalanced?
